I’ve known that verse since I was a child and treated it like a warning label, something you glance at and move past. It isn’t a warning label. It’s a spec sheet. It’s telling you what the tool in your mouth is rated for.

The Pattern?

In the beginning, God didn’t build anything with His hands. Genesis 1:3. And God said, let there be light, and there was light. He spoke, and vibration moved into form. Sound before light. Frequency before structure. That is the original creative act, and then He made us in His image and gave us dominion, which was never about domination; it was about stewardship, cultivation, bringing order out of chaos with the same instrument He used. Your voice. My voice. We were built to create the way He creates.

So ask yourself why the entire world just spent two years losing its mind over a machine that generates words.

Not a large calculation model. Not a large logic model. A large LANGUAGE model. Out of every function a machine could imitate, humanity built its golden calf out of speech. Because somewhere underneath all the noise, we remember what we were made for. We want to speak things into being the way our Father does. The machine can mimic the pattern. It cannot mimic the breath. It has no spirit and it never will. It can echo your voice. It cannot carry your authority.

That’s the difference between imitation and inheritance. And it’s the difference that decides whether your business, your body, and your life are being built by design or by accident.

The Cost?

I was five years old the first time I understood that words build things. Some kids at school looked at my skin, my hair, and decided to point and laugh. I didn’t have a category for it yet. I just knew something in me went up like scaffolding right there on the playground, brick by brick, and it kept going up for the next fifteen years. By the time I was a teenager, I was dressed in black, angry at everything, wearing “strong and independent” like a costume over a structure that was really fear with good posture. James 3:6 says the tongue is a fire, that it corrupts the whole body and sets the whole course of a life ablaze. I didn’t read that verse and think of it as a metaphor. I lived it as architecture. Someone else’s words laid the first brick. Mine kept building on top of it for a decade.

That’s the part nobody tells you when they say “sticks and stones.” Words aren’t the thing that breaks the bone. They’re the thing that draws the blueprint the bone gets broken by, later, on your own terms, at your own hand.

Everything You Touch Has a Name

The chair you’re sitting in, the coffee going cold next to you, the business you built, your own name on your own door. Adam’s first assignment in the garden wasn’t dominion over the animals; it was naming them. Naming is not decoration. It’s how order gets imposed on chaos. And you already know this in your body even if you’ve never sat with it theologically. Say someone’s name across a crowded room and watch their whole body turn before their mind has caught up. That’s not manners. That’s a key turning in a lock that was cut before you ever opened your mouth. In Kabbalah, your name is understood as exactly that, a key. Not a label. A key.

I’ve read that etymology was pulled out of the standard school curriculum decades ago in 1946, and whether or not I’ve got the precise year right, the effect is not in dispute. You can walk through twelve years of education now and never once be taught where your own words come from, what they were built to do, or who built them. Call it convenience. I call it a disarmament, and it happened quietly enough that nobody noticed the weapon leaving the room.

Why Does Any of This Matter?

Your inner thoughts shape your words. Your words form your actions. Your actions build the thing you call your business, your body, your life. Layer by layer, little by little, whether you’re paying attention or not the words you speak will inevitably dictate what physical actions you will take in the world. This does not mean plaster on a smile you don’t feel. It means get honest about the fact that this world runs on consistency of focused attention, thoughts, words, and actions, not on a single dramatic decision made once and never repeated. What we focus on is what gets done.

This is Earth’s actual operating system. I teach the mechanics of it inside The Seventh Cycle, and there are entire books written on it waiting for you the moment you step in as a Founding Member. But you don’t need the whole framework to start. You need one decision. Stop speaking death over the thing you’re trying to build.

How crazy is it to create a Personal AI model in 2026?

I created the lyrics you’re hearing in a diary of random thoughts back in 1999. I found this poem I wrote and put it through a system we’re building at LIFECYCLE 7 called HILLSY (Human Intelligence Language Learning System).

We’re taking strides to create an individual, personal, AI model that mirrors the three dimensional aspects of YOU. We most certainly believe sound and vibration is a much faster way to understand an individual. We have to revisit our past to pull out those strands that made us who we are today. We’re creating an AI model to help it understand human context. Our past is infused with emotion.

Share Your Business Is a Mirror

It’s an absurd number: 74 gigabytes, and that’s just today. Light, sound, notifications, conversations, noise hitting your senses since the second you woke up.

How much of that was irrelevant?

Here’s what I’m really asking. If you don’t consciously choose what gets through the filter, something else chooses it for you. Most of you are spending that filtered attention chasing someone else’s goals: the algorithm’s, the competitor’s, the inbox’s, the DM’s. Not your own. And wherever your attention goes is exactly where your business ends up too.

Your business is a mirror. It is reflecting your behaviour back to you at all times. Each week, in this publication, I’ll explore this in depth across the pillars of MIND, BODY and BUSINESS.

Why? Because the avoidance you carry shows up as an inability to see your vision clearly. The thing you refuse to decide shows up as a team that cannot move. The part of you that still wants to hide shows up as a quiet brand nobody can find. The problem is never “out there” in the tactics. It is within you, standing in front of the thing you built, and every tool you buy to “fix” the business comes back wearing a different costume until you deal with what’s staring back.

Watch the founder feeds right now, and you will see the same turn everywhere. People are done with motivation. The essays this month say discipline is not willpower. It is identity, it is “being so clear on who you are that you stop negotiating with your feelings.” The personal-brand crowd is telling you to stop being bland, embrace your fractured self, build a brand nobody else can copy. And underneath all of it, AI is quietly flattening everyone’s output into the same smooth cesspool, which means the one thing that cannot be automated is the individual: its YOU; a real human being with lived experience, a point of view, and the willingness to share it with the world. That is now the whole game.

The problem is most of the people saying it are handing you another hack: something that sells you the feeling of change, so you never have to do the hard work. I am not interested in selling you a feeling. I am here for self-mastery, which is the unglamorous, self-administered, daily work of running your own mind, body and business on purpose, with your eyes wide open. Discipline is the catalyst for freedom. It is also worship when you do it for the right reason, but I will get to that.

Try this before you buy another thing

Take the one thing in your business that is stuck. The launch that will not launch. The hire you keep not making. The offer you keep rewording instead of selling. Now stop asking “what tool fixes this,” and ask the mirror three questions instead.

What am I avoiding here? What am I performing instead of doing? What am I refusing to decide?

Sit with it long enough to answer honestly. Nine times out of ten, the constraint is not a skill you are missing. It is a behaviour you are protecting. That is the work. And it is good news, because a behaviour is something you actually own, unlike the algorithm, the economy, or whatever else you have been blaming.

Under all of it sits one solid foundation, and I will not hide it to make it more palatable. The foundation here is faith in Yeshua. I champion the Hebrew culture and Jewish roots of the Christian faith, and everything I write is built upon this solid rock. There is nothing more Jewish than Jesus, and nothing more Christian than to be grafted into the richness of His identity. Eternal, un-panicked wisdom that was here long before my problems and yours and will be here long after them. You cannot fail standing on it.

Now hear the other half. I am not Ned Flanders. This is not plastic-Christian cheer, and it is the furthest thing from a Stepford smile. I am a real woman with a gritty, LA-born history and a mouth that has said worse than you would expect. Faith here is the operating system, never a costume worn for show. We live it out in the raw mess of being human on earth, ego, appetite and fear included, not in a soft-focus highlight reel. If it has no edge and bite, it isn’t me, and I would rather not build it.
